Anchor of Hope

Ministry of Reconciliation

You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.

Anchor of Hope

Win Souls, Restore Lives,Reconcile with God. Make Disciples, Build the Church!
We plan to accomplish this mission by being Spirit led in our mission outreaches, by making ministry available to the whole family and by creating an atmosphere of praise and worship which will enable the people of God to experience the manifested presence of God; by providing conviction, challenging, edifying and educational preaching and teaching; and by fulfilling our God-given responsibility to care for every church member.

Our Mission & Vision

We exist to win souls, to heal sick, restore broken, make disciples, and plant churches!

“We thank God for giving us the privilege to pastor Anchor of Hope church in Edina, Minnesota. We love God, we love people, we love what we do, and we hope it shows. If you’re looking for a church family where you can get restored, reconnected with God, healed – spirit soul and body, grow in the Word of God, experience life in the Spirit, reach out to others who need the Savior, and enjoy the fellowship of Jesus centered friendships – Anchor of Hope is the place for you!”

Why Jesus?

Jesus is the only one who lived a perfect and holy life. With His death on the cross He paid for our sins. Ancient prophecies from the Old Testament predict that the Messiah will suffer (Isaiah 53:4-6), and this prophecy, along with 450 others, was fulfilled in the life of Christ.

Repentance

The Bible is very clear: all people have sinned before God. We cannot earn or buy our salvation. We need to repent and turn away from sin.

Love Him

When Jesus was asked what the most important commandment was, He said, “you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.” (Matthew 22:37-8).

Worship

The church is called to worship and we sing hymns of praise. We pray for God to be with us and we open our hearts to God’s love. Together we confess our sins and pray for God’s forgiveness.

Reconciliation

Our church greatly welcomes people with broken hearts, broken lives, broken marriages and those who have lost their hope and need a new vision for their life.
